Annual Plan 2026/2027
Auckland's next annual plan is due to take effect in June 2026. It sets out what we plan to achieve over the next financial year and how we will fund these plans.
Mayoral Proposal
The Mayoral Proposal is an important part of the process to develop and adopt the annual plan.
The draft proposal was released on 1 December 2025 and outlines the mayor’s vision and priorities for Auckland's Annual Plan 2026/2027. It was then adopted at a Governing Body meeting on 15 December 2025.
At this meeting, the Governing Body decided on topics that will go to public consultation in February 2026. The feedback we receive from this will help shape our annual plan for 2026/2027.
When you can have your say
Public consultation opens on Friday 27 February and closes on Sunday 29 March 2026.
This is when you can have your say and leave any feedback on the mayor's proposals.
