mpokai19007about 2 years agoMore street lighting
Walking around during the evening or at night can be dangerous and unsafe, with more street lighting at least you can see out in front of you and help you a little bit more with keeping safe through the dark :)

because some streets are narrow, so like only two cars can drive down at the same time but when people park on the streets only one car can pass at a time which causes unnecessary traffic and chaos.
0 comment1Dirtsports AKLabout 2 years agoPublic Toilets on Colin Dale Park
Colin Dale park currently has no public toilets. There are four users currently using the park on a regular basis. The events they hold often have 300-400 persons present. The user group see that the park usage is growing steadily. The current users have youth categories in the sports, Ages starting from just 5 years old. As a result a lot of family groups are present. Currently the use of Porta loos is the only option. This is very expensive for the clubs involved and I would suggest not the best hygiene particularly for children. For the clubs at Colin dale park there is no other park option within the Auckland area were their sport can take place. Colin Dale park is fast becoming a unique and special place for the motorsports and is developing into a valuable asset for the local community. A centrally located toilet within the park would be a good outcome.

We think that we should invest into adding more parks around our community & with those parks ensure that we add bathrooms around those areas.

We definitely need a supermarket (paknsave or countdown) here in OTARA, one that will take health and safety very serious.
