In response to feedback from the Scott Point community, we are investigating development options for the public reserve at 1 Observation Green in Hobsonville.

Upper Harbour Local Board has been asked to invest in this reserve to provide residents with a place to play, be active and connect with their neighbours.

The current reserve consists of a grassy spot and does not allow for many recreational activities.

We have prepared a draft concept plan that outlines how the public reserve could be developed in the future.

About the concept plan

We have prepared a draft concept plan that outlines how the public reserve could be developed in the future.

The concept plan takes into account the other development planned at Scott Point Sustainability Park, which will provide another recreational space to the community.

What we want your feedback on

We'd like to know how you use the park and what you would like to see here for informal recreation and play for whanau (family) and rangatahi (young people).

When you can have your say

You can have your say from 12 July until 30 July 2021.

Join us at a Drop-In event on 24 July at 2 pm at the Observation Green Reserve.

What happens next

We will review your feedback and incorporate this into the final design.

The updated plan will be presented to the Upper Harbour Local Board.
