Your feedback will help us ensure the community building is a thriving hub, where people can gather and be together.
We had over 700 survey responses from our community members letting us know what service should be included in the community hub building in the new Northcote Town Centre.
We are currently analysing all your feedback and will be sharing this with Panuku and the Kaipātiki Local Board to help with future planning of the town centre.
A summary of feedback will be available in May on this page.
There will be future opportunities for public input on the design aspect of the town centre available on the Panuku Northcote project page.

We want to know what is important to you and your whānau/family
A primary goal of Panuku’s Unlock Northcote regeneration project is to provide a social, vibrant and connected new town centre.
An important part of achieving this goal is to provide a multi-purpose community building that serves as a hub and gathering place for Northcote residents. The hub is aimed at supporting the diverse needs of this ever-changing community.
We need your help to determine what services, in addition to a library, should be included in this multi-purpose community hub building.
We want a social and well-connected community
Auckland Council and the community provide services that enable people to connect, socialise, learn and participate in a wide range of activities that improves lifestyle and generates a sense of belonging among residents. Examples of community services includes family/whānau support, indoor social recreation activities, and classes or programmes to learn something new that are available at low or no cost.
