Help us shape the future of the playground at Mānu (Maui Reserve) playground.

What we are proposing

We are proposing to renew the Mānu (Maui Reserve) playground. We aim to provide fun, challenging, and safe play equipment for children of all age groups.

Purpose of renewal

The current playground needs

  • more challenging equipment for older children
  • additional equipment for balancing, spinning, jumping and creative play
  • improved accessibility.

The purpose of the renewal is:

  • to replace the outdated play equipment
  • to ensure the playground caters for all age groups
  • to make the playground accessible and inclusive.

What we want your feedback on

Share your ideas about what you would like to have included in the updated playground. Let us know your preferences for play activities, such as:

  • spinning
  • rocking
  • balancing
  • natural play items (for example logs, boulder, stumps)
  • climbing/crawling.

When you can have your say

The consultation is open from 18 September to 16 October 2023.
