Henderson-Massey local parks management plan
Henderson-Massey Local Board is developing a local parks management plan for all parks and reserves in the local board area. The plan will guide the use, protection and development of local parks and reserves over the next 10 years.
The plan will focus on important cultural, historic, natural and recreational features of parks and reserves in the area.
This plan is required under the Reserves Act 1977.
We want your feedback to help us prepare the draft local parks management plan.
What the plan will do
The local parks management plan will:
- guide how we develop and improve our parks
- help us meet community needs and aspirations
- guide how we use the parks for recreational activities
- identify issues and opportunities at specific parks.
