Woodridge Reserve Playground Renewal

We received 12 pieces of feedback about the renewal of the small neighbourhood playground at Woodridge Reserve.

The feedback came through:

• our online campaign
• email submissions.

Key feedback themes

People wanted:

• seating
• nature play.

Option two (the climbing equipment, double swings and basket swing) was most popular of the two options given.

Changes made as a result of feedback

As a result of your feedback, we added seating and a footpath connection.

We also added planting to the plan.

What happens next

• Hibiscus and Bays Local Board has supported the concept design.
• The option chosen by the community will be going ahead.
• Construction is currently underway, with an estimated finish of the end of June 2022.
