Waima Reserve playground renewal
What we are proposing
We want to renew the playground at Waima Reserve in Titirangi.
The playground is important to Waima and Woodland Park communities. Their next nearest playground is 1.2km away at Woodlands Park Primary School.
We want to renew the playground to provide:
- a more modern play experience
- accessible play items.
What we want your feedback on
We want to know which activities and equipment you would like us to include in the renewed playground, such as:
- climbing activities
- swings and slides
- spinning, rocking and jumping play options
- hanging and flying activities
- nature play and music play options
We also want to know if there are any other additions or improvements you want us to make at the reserve, like:
- a drinking fountain
- improved access from the concrete paths.
We will use your feedback to help us design:
- the renewed playground
- minor improvements at the reserve.
