We want to develop 71 Twins Parks Rise in Ardmore into a neighbourhood park.
This park will provide leisure activities for all age groups. It will also reduce pressure on nearby parks.
Why we want to develop this new park
The Ardmore/Twin Parks Estate area currently lacks:
- nearby places for children to play
- recreational spaces for adults.
We want to:
- provide more play options like rocking, balancing, jumping and nature play for children aged 0 to 4 and 9 to 12
- create spaces for children of all ages to play, relax and enjoy informal games like casual soccer
- improve access and connections with better pathways and landscaping
- support the goals of the Auckland Plan and Papakura Local Board.
