Timeline for the Annual Budget 2023/2024

We publish an annual budget every year.

The Governing Body adopted the 2023/2024 Annual Budget on 29 June 2023.

The mayoral proposal was released in December 2022. This was first step in developing our annual budget. It outlined the issues our mayor considers most important for Auckland.

In January and February, our Governing Body discussed the mayoral proposal and developed a proposed annual budget.

Consultation on the annual budget was open until 28 March 2023. The Governing Body considered your feedback, deliberated, and made decisions for the final Annual Budget 2023/2024.

The Governing Body approved the annual budget on 29 June 2023.

We are preparing the final documents for this budget and will publish them once they are completed.
