Stanaway Reserve playground upgrade

We are planning to upgrade the playground and park at Stanaway Reserve in Hillcrest.

We assessed all of the area's local playgrounds in 2019, which helped us identify improvements in the playground network across the Kaipātiki Local Board area.

This assessment recommended we consider play equipment at Stanaway Reserve:

• for early childhood up to junior age groups (0–12-year-olds),
• that encourages challenging, accessible and collaborative play experiences.

We have listened to previous community feedback and the basketball half court will remain at Stanaway Reserve.
