Rowandale Reserve Playspace Renewal

What we are doing

We are upgrading Rowandale Reserve in Manurewa. The renewal is for the:

• play area
• footpath connections
• other amenities.

What the upgrade involves

You can read about the proposed upgrade in the Rowandale Playspace Concept Plan.

The proposed upgrade includes:

• a half basketball court
• a nature trail linking the half basketball court to the playground
• a fitness zone
• a picnic table and bench seats.
• a barbecue
• a public toilet

The playground upgrade includes:

• timber swings (with a variety of seating arrangements)
• a climbing unit
• an accessible carousel
• a junior climbing unit with slide
• new footpath connecting to the early childhood education learning centres

What we want your feedback on

We want to know:

• what other features you would like to see in the park
• if you would like to see lighting in the park so it can be used after dark.
