Rock Daisy Crescent playground renewal
Consultation has concluded
What is happening
We want to renew the Rock Daisy Crescent Reserve playground at 15R Cinnamon Road, Māngere.
The plans for the playground include:
- a nature play area
- jumping and balancing play equipment
- an informal gathering place
- shaded areas
- separate area for younger kids under three years-old (toddlers).
The Māngere-Ōtahuhu Local Board wants the renewed playground to:
- offer fun and safe play equipment to kids of different ages
- improve play facilities
- provide kids with a broader range of play options
- create a safe and engaging recreational space for everyone to enjoy.
The proposed designs
We have designed two options for the renewed playground:
- Rock Daisy Crescent Reserve Playground Renewal Option 1 [PDF 6.3MB]
- Rock Daisy Crescent Reserve Playground Renewal Option 2 [PDF 5.9MB]
What we want your feedback on
We want to know which concept design you prefer and what you would like to see in the:
- updated playground
- informal recreation areas like open spaces and picnic areas
- play options for whānau (family) and rangatahi (young people).
We suggest you look at the proposed designs before answering any of the feedback questions.
