Consultation has concluded

Ray Fausett Reserve

We want to create play spaces in Ray Fausett Reserve that young and older children can enjoy.

About Ray Fausett Reserve

Ray Fausett Reserve is a 1.8-hectare site on Princes Street West, Belmont, Pukekohe. It is located between an older established area of housing to the east, and recent housing developments in the west and north. The new developments have a large population of families with young children.

What we are proposing

We're proposing two playground zones, a place for the community to meet and hang out, a basketball half court, learn to ride path and a nature trail. We are planning to deliver the playgrounds zones, the meeting place and the learn to ride path first, with everyone else to come later.

What we want your feedback on

We want your feedback on our whole concept for the park, the elements in the playgrounds and the meeting place. We also want to know which parts of the plan are most important to you and should be delivered first.

When you can have your say

You can have your say from 9am 12 September 2022 to 5pm 9 October 2022.

An on-site open day will be held between 1pm and 3pm on Sunday 18 September 2022.

What happens next

The feedback you provide will:

  • be presented to the Franklin Local Board
  • influence the design of the play spaces.
