What the project is about

Franklin Local Board wants to develop Poohutukawa Park (77 Tahuna Minhinnick Drive) in Glenbrook Beach as a neighbourhood park.

Th park will offer spaces for play and socialising near homes.

The site for the development is:

• is close to the new housing development at Kahawai Point in Glenbrook Beach
• sits on the coast beside the Manukau Harbour
• has off-road access through a path along the esplanade
• is fenced on the south and west sides, with access through the esplanade path

What we want feedback on

We would like your feedback on:

• what parks you visit locally
• if you travel outside of Glenbrook Beach to visit playgrounds
• what activities you enjoy at other parks you visit
• what you would like to see included in the concept design for the park.
