• We added special ground material around the basket swing to make it easier for people with disabilities to use.
• We included climbing, hanging and swinging activities.
• We used natural timber for the playground equipment.

What happens next

Waitākere Ranges Local Board approved the concept plan in August 2025. Local board provided feedback about the concept in August 2025.
