About the Othello Park playground upgrade concept design

We need your feedback on the proposed playspace concept plan so we can make the best decisions for the area and our community.

The concept provides for the key play experiences of:

  • swinging
  • sliding
  • balancing
  • climbing
  • spinning.

The concept also enables children to explore and make up their own games.

Why we are upgrading the playground

The existing playground at Othello Park is approaching the end of its useful life and needs renewal. The play space is partially concealed when viewed from Othello Drive. We recommend to relocate the play space to improve visibility from Othello Drive.

We hope to create a play space within safe and easy distance for the children of the neighbourhood to walk, bike or scooter. We also want to promote a community-focused gathering space where children, parents and grandparents can get to know each other.

What we want your feedback on

We need your feedback on what you want to see as part of the playground renewal. We will be using your feedback to help us design the new play space.
