What we asked for feedback on

We asked for your feedback to help shape the focus areas for the next three years. Topics included:

  • safer streets and shared spaces
  • local parks, playgrounds and sports facilities
  • town centre upgrades
  • youth programmes
  • climate action and cleaner neighbourhoods
  • supporting our cultural identity and strong communities.

What happens next

We are reviewing all the feedback we received. Your ideas will:

  • help us understand what matters most to your community
  • shape the priorities and goals that guide future projects and services
  • influence local decision-making before detailed plans are drafted.

We will use this feedback to develop the draft Ōrākei Local Board Plan 2026.
