We are planning to upgrade the playground at Leiden Reserve, Totara Vale.

The existing playground is in a poor condition and needs to be replaced.

What we want your feedback on

We asked in November 2023 what play experiences and activities you would like at Leiden Reserve.

Your feedback showed that families with toddlers frequently use the existing playground, so we've included opportunities for younger tamariki (children) as well as the 5-12 age group suggested in the Kaipātiki Play and Sunsmart Provision strategy.

We used your feedback to develop two concept design options[PDF 6.5MB].

Now we need you to tell us:

  • which concept design you prefer
  • if there is anything else we could improve at this reserve.
