Kohuora Park in Papatoetoe is a large sports park with open spaces for recreational activity. This park is connected with Lendenfield Reserve and Beaufort Reserve.

The playground equipment is old and needs to be replaced.

We want your feedback on what type of recreation and play activities you would like at the new playground.

What we are proposing

We are proposing two design options for the new playground.

Design options

You can view the concept options below, or download the concept options for the playground and furniture renewal. [PDF 3.9 MB]

What we want your feedback on

We want to know:

  • your preferred design option for the playground renewal
  • how you usually travel to the park
  • what is your main activity at Kohuora Park
  • if anyone in your household has a disability that affects how they access or use the playground
  • what safety features you would like to see in the park other than fencing
  • if you have any other feedback about the park.

You can have your say from Thursday 18 September to Thursday 16 October 2025.
