We received 38 pieces of feedback through our online form about our proposal to install a permanent lighting display in Jellicoe Park, Onehunga.
The lights will be used at:
- Christmas
- public holidays
- special events.
Key feedback themes
- Most people strongly supported the permanent installation of LED lights on the old pine tree in Jellicoe Park.
- They did not support the laser light display held in Jellicoe Park during the 2024 Christmas season.
Changes we made as a result of your feedback
We installed permanent LED lights on the old pine tree in Jellicoe Park in 2025.
So far, the lights are working well and there have been no complaints from the community.
