Jellicoe Park is the oldest and one of the most popular parks in Onehunga. Last year, we held a successful trial of a laser light display on one of the park's large oak trees.
What we are proposing
We are proposing to install a permanent lighting display in the park. This will reduce operational costs during events and attract more visitors.
What we want your feedback on
We want to know:
- if you attended the laser light display between 29 November to 29 December 2024
- your thoughts about the 2024 laser light display
- if you support a permanent tree lighting display
- your suggestions for the Christmas display in 2025
- what is your main activity at the park
- if there is anything else you would like us to consider about the park.
Your feedback will help Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board to take the final decision.

What happens next
