About the Hillside South Park playground renewal
We need your feedback on the proposed play space concept plan so we can make the best decisions for your area community.
The concept provides for the key play experiences of:
swinging
sliding
balancing
climbing
spinning.
The concept also enables children to explore and make up their own games.
Why we are upgrading the playground
The existing playground is approaching the end of its useful life and require full renewal.
We hope to create a play space within safe and easy distance for the children of the neighbourhood to walk, bike or scooter. We also want to promote a community-focused gathering space where children, parents and grandparents can get to know each other.
What we want your feedback on
We need your feedback on what you want to see as part of the playground renewal. We will be using your feedback to help us design the new play space.
How you can have your say
Have your say online by completing the online survey.
Hard copies of the survey will be available in these local libraries.
You can have your say from 22 November to 5pm Sunday 16 January 2022.
What happens next
Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board will consider your feedback and use it to finalise the concept plan.
