About the plan
The Glenfield Centre Plan is a 30-year plan setting out the vision for the Glenfield town centre. It recognises that significant change is likely to occur in and around the centre over the next few decades. This plan will help prepare the area and the community for the changes that will come with growth and the challenges, including climate change. It sets out local priorities and will guide public investment and private development in the area.
Who developed the plan?
The plan is being developed by the council under the direction of the Kaipātiki Local Board. Many of the ideas for the plan come from our consultation with the public, schools, mana whenua and other interested groups in early-2020.
How to give your feedback on the draft Glenfield Centre Plan
This is your opportunity to comment on the draft plan. The vision, outcomes and summarised actions of the draft plan are set out below under the relevant feedback form questions. You can also download the full draft plan from the widget to the right, or read it at Glenfield Library.
Tell us if you support the vision, outcomes and actions, and let us know if there is anything we should include or change. Your feedback will help develop the final Glenfield Centre Plan which will be finalised in early-2021.
When you can have your say
You can have your say from 9 November to 21 December.
