They also preferred a natural colour scheme.
Changes made as a result of your feedback
We presented option two to Hibiscus and Bays Local Board as the community’s preferred choice.
We are also raising the heights of one of the slides on Gilshennan Reserve from 1500mm to 1800mm.
The natural colour scheme is selected because:
- green represents the greenery in the reserve
- blue reflects the blue of the sky and nearby ocean
- orange reflects the flowers of the trees in the surrounding area.
What happens next
Hibiscus and Bays Local Board approved the concept design in November 2024.
