Edith Hopper Park Playground Renewal

Why we are upgrading the playground

Edith Hopper Park is located in Manly, Whangaparāoa.

The existing playground has come to the end of its life.

We want to:

• renew the playground
• provide challenging, fun and safe play equipment for children of a range of ages to enjoy.

The current playground

The existing playground has:

• swings
• basket swings
• a shade sail
• a junior module with climbing and sliding.

The basket swings and shade sail are recent additions. We aim to keep these as part of the renewal.

What we want your feedback on

We want to know:

• how you currently use the park
• how you would like to use the park in the future
• what informal recreation and play spaces for whānau and rangatahi you would like to see.
