What is happening

We are upgrading Ngā Puna / Cyclamen Park playground at 15R, Cyclamen Road, Māngere to create a safe and fun recreational space for the community to enjoy.

The upgrade includes:

  • new playground equipment, like swings and slides
  • park furniture, like benches and picnic tables
  • replacing the park's bollards (posts) with a fence.

Option 1

The first option for the upgrade includes:

  • a pre-school-age play structure
  • a climbing net structure and slide for older kids
  • a new set of swings
  • an interactive play car
  • a shaded seating area
  • 'wetpour' rubber surfacing (weather-resistant and soft).

Option 2

The second option for the upgrade includes:

  • a pre-school-age play structure
  • 'high' swings for adults and older kids and 'junior' swings for younger kids
  • a play tower with a tunnel slide
  • a carousel or 'Tipi' spinner
  • 'wetpour' rubber surfacing.
