Canal Reserve Playground Upgrade

What we are proposing

The play equipment at the Canal Reserve playground in Whau is out of date.

We want to upgrade the playground to provide better play activities and recreational opportunities for the community.

The renewal will:

• upgrade the existing playground equipment
• provide more accessible play equipment
• ensure a safe and engaging recreational space
• improve physical and mental health, social interaction, inclusion and environmental sustainability in the area.

What we want your feedback on

We would like your feedback on:

• what play equipment you would like to see
• how we can make the playground more accessible.

Your feedback will help us design the playground renewal and other park facilities.

To have your say, you can:

• complete our online feedback form
• email communityconsultation@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with a scanned copy of your completed feedback form
• complete your feedback form and hand it in to your library with council services, or at your local board office.
