About the draft area plan
The area plan for parts of Puketāpapa and Albert-Eden local boards provides a framework for communities to shape their areas in preparation for changes that will come with growth and development.
This plan includes the suburbs of:
Mount Roskill
Ōwairaka
Sandringham
Wesley
Waikōwhai
Three Kings.
What the plan does
The plan sets out a vision, outcomes and actions for these suburbs over the next 30 years.
It identifies:
priority areas for investment and action
areas to be protected and enhanced, such as heritage, cultural and natural environment values
current and future infrastructure needs, such as transport.
Who developed the plan
We are developing the plan under the direction of Albert-Eden and Puketāpapa local boards and mana whenua representatives.
Many of the ideas for the plan come from:
our public consultation
mana whenua
other interested groups
council specialists.
What we want your feedback on
This is your opportunity to comment on the draft plan.
We want to know:
what you think of the vision, outcomes and actions
if there is anything we should include or change.
Your feedback will help fine-tune the final area plan for parts of Puketāpapa and Albert-Eden local boards.
The plan will be finalised in late 2022.
