Allenby Reserve playground renewal

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

The playground at Allenby Reserve is in poor condition and needs to be renewed.

About the project

The renewed play space will be in a new location to avoid the underground services and the sloped terrain.

An access path, park signage, furniture and bins will be installed to service the playground

The new playground will provide play elements for a wider age-group of children.

We want to remove and dispose of everything in the old play space, except the swings and seesaw as they are in good condition and can be reused in the new play space.

For more detailed information, read the Allenby Reserve Playground Renewal Draft concept plan.

  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

The proposal is to remove and dispose of the old play equipment at the playground, with the exception of the swing and seesaw which can be reused. The renewed playground is to be relocated away from the road to avoid underground services and the sloped terrain at the current location. The playground will provide for a wider age-group of children than at present.

Please refer to the attached concept document for more details on the proposed upgrades.
